Our Mission

Partnership: Our aim is to build faith-based partnerships with families, communities, and churches to cultivate a flourishing environment where resources and unity promote spiritual growth, academic excellence, and community engagement.
Christ-Centered Education: It is our highest aim and deepest resolve that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ be central to all we are and all we do. Our policies reflect our Biblical worldview, our students actively serve our community, and we partner with staff and families who align with our faith based mission. It is our desire that every soul we touch will fully experience our living Lord Jesus and become more like Him.

Historical Perspective For Christian Education in Castle Rock

Castle Rock Christian Academy began in 2007 as a ministry of The Rock Church when the school was founded by Pastor J.R. Polhemus. He was inspired by Isaiah 54:13,

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children”

and felt called by God to open the first Christian school in the area. While our roots are with The Rock Church, today CRCA is an independent, Christ-centered school. We are guided by a pastoral board made up of leaders from more than 10 local churches, ensuring our school reflects the greater body of Christ in our community. This collaborative leadership helps us stay true to our mission of providing a biblically grounded, academically excellent education. We continue to steward Pastor J.R.’s vision by building a comprehensive K–12 Christian school where students are nurtured to grow in faith, knowledge, and character.
