Academics

TEACHING STUDENTS

We treat students as individuals, meeting their needs, and creating an encouraging learning environment.

ELEMENTARY

We have a small teacher-student ratio in our multi-level classroom which provides a variety of learning opportunities. All students have classes in Bible, Language Arts (Reading, Writing, Spelling, and Grammar), Math, Science, and History.

Curriculum: Our goal is to present all academics through the lens of God’s Word. To meet this goal, we have selected up-to-date curriculum from Christian publishers, depending on the grade level:  ABeka, Concordia, Deep Roots (Bible), and ACSI. We also use Art in Action, Technology Without Tears and (check Upper Learning Center Math).

Our school follows a six-year curriculum review cycle so that we can evaluate strengths of the current textbooks, assess outcomes from standardized test scores, and research publishers that will best meet the needs of our students.

Chapel: All students begin our school week in Chapel on Monday morning where they participate in worship and then listen to a message given by the Pastoral staff, guest speakers, or our faculty.
