CASTLE ROCK CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
Love God • Love Others - Mark 12: 29-31
QUALITY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Through the power of a Christ-centered education, Castle Rock Christian Academy’s mission is to be a light to the world by creating Godly student warriors to Love God and Love others (Mark 12:29-31). This is accomplished through our vision of providing academic excellence within a transformative and nurturing environment. We believe that love, unity, and real community are the keys to change when they are rooted in the foundation of Christ-based values. As a team of servant leaders, we teach our students to understand their identity in Christ, develop a passion for learning, and create a safe environment.

MANY REASONS TO CHOOSE CRCA
We are a member of the ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) which connects our school with a community of Christian educators, along with tools, services, and development opportunities.
Our low teacher-student ratio enables our teachers to give focused attention to each student. Each class is able to learn quickly because of the small class size.
10 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
CRCA began 10 years ago as a ministry of The Rock church, and was founded by Pastor J.R. Polhemus. He was inspired by Isaiah 54:13, “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.” and felt called by God to open the first Christian school in the area.
A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL SALLY
Welcome to Castle Rock Christian Academy, CRCA. We are so excited to serve you and provide your child with a wonderful Christian educational experience. We believe that children feel more secure and we can be better educators when there is a strong partnership between home and school. Communication and parent involvement is very important for us to accomplish our school mission. Parent suggestions, comments, and participation are welcome, and accomplished through our open door policy.
GROWING AND EXPANDING
Next year, we will complete our middle school program by adding 8th grade. We will continue to offer an excellent academic schedule for preschool and elementary students with electives. In addition, our middle school will also give the opportunity to select online electives. We are also applying for accreditation with ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International).
Our classes, taught by experienced teachers, will continue to serve students with a low student-teacher ratio. We use updated resources, Christian publishers, and will make curriculum decisions based on individual and standardized testing assessments. Our ultimate goal is to add a high school and be a preschool through 12th grade educational program. Please join us in praying for wisdom and discernment in making this dream a reality.
The fantastic teachers and staff of CRCA
Our faculty represents more than 120 collective years of teaching experience. Their focus is on the academic, spiritual, and physical growth of each student. Our low teacher-student ratio allows each teacher to evaluate the student’s needs, facilitate in one-on-one or small-group settings, and encourage each child to grow to their full potential.

Students may wear khaki or black slacks, shorts, jumpers (Kindergarten), or skirts from a local retail store. Spirit shirts and hoodies are optional and also may be purchased from Land’s End. CAMPUS & FACILITY
INFORMATION REGUARDING OUR SCHOOL CAMPUS
CRCA enjoys a rural setting, located on more than 53 acres on the west side of the Meadows in Castle Rock. Multi-purpose room for Chapel and PE, a Music and Tech classroom, cafe, and unique indoor play park represent our indoor facilities, including a separate Preschool wing. Outside, our students are able to enjoy a fenced playground as well as a grass play-field surrounded by open space.
State of the art classrooms: All classrooms are fully equipped for academic success. Upper level classrooms have interactive whiteboards, projectors and grade level appropriate resources. Separate classrooms for Music and Technology as well as a library, give every student the opportunity to explore beyond our core content. Every classroom also has an attached restroom.
Safety: Every student’s safety is a priority at CRCA. Only one entrance is available during school hours and is accessed by visual identification through the Office. Every classroom is also monitored via cameras with a composite display screen in the school lobby. Monthly emergency drills are practiced and every staff member is First Aid and CPR certified.
Custom play park and playgrounds: Inside the South wing is the Ark, a custom-made indoor play park based on Noah’s Ark, complete with slides, climbing ladders, and tunnels and is monitored via video cameras. In addition to the rural setting and acreage, a fenced playground, and a grass field are adjacent to the school’s South wing.
Security: At CRCA we take security seriously with our locked front door, cameras in every classroom, and staff trained in all possible emergency situations including CPR and FIrst-Aid certified.
