Dr. James M Calhoun Jr served in public education as a teacher, coach, and administrator for 36 years. In 2011, he received his PhD in curriculum and instruction from the University of Denver. Jim retired from public education in 2016 but felt the nudge of the Lord to get back into the game. This led to helping Castle Rock Christian Academy and eventually accepting the offer to be the Head of School. Now in his third year as HOS, Jim is in charge of discerning God’s plan to expand the school and build a comprehensive K-12 Christian school in Castle Rock.
